Christina Marshall

Founder, Director, & President

As Founder, Manager and President of the Company, Christina’s role at the Company includes partnering with the CEO and executive team to lead the Company in accordance with the Board’s strategic direction and achieve its financial and operational goals.  

Christina began her career with one of America’s largest law firms, Haynes and Boone, focusing on corporate law including mergers and acquisitions, with an emphasis on clients in the technology and energy industries and where she was elevated to partner in 2015. She worked with businesses in a wide variety of technology sectors, including computer hardware, software, nanotechnology, robotics, semi-conductors and alternative energies.  She guided these companies through a wide range of transactions exceeding $1B in value, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, debt/equity capital raises, property purchases, divestitures and leasing transactions, complex oil and gas and midstream transactions, internal reorganizations and crisis management issues. In addition to achieving the position of partner, she has also served as executive vice president and general counsel for The Chalak Mitra Companies, a group of investment companies focused on the hospitality, real estate, and sports industries, from 2015 to 2017.

Having helped found JBB Advanced Technologies and having previously served as the Company’s outside corporate counsel from its inception, Christina joined the Company full time in 2021, and now leads the process of identifying risks facing the Company and develops initiatives to mitigate those risks. While identifying, recruiting, and developing a strong and diverse pipeline of leaders, Christina builds teamwork across functional areas through collaboration among Company colleagues, sustaining an equitable and inclusive workplace, championing diverse and inclusive thinking, perspective, background, and experience.

In 2013, 2014 and 2015, Christina was recognized as a rising star by Texas Super Lawyers/Thomson Reuters. She has provided courses at Baylor Law School and at The University of Texas at Dallas. 

Christina attended Austin College where she received a Bachelor of Arts, Political Science and Government in 2002.  She then attended Southern Methodist University where she received a Juris Doctorate in 2006.

In addition to her involvement with the Company, Christina serves on the Metroplex (North Texas) Technology Business Council.
