Dipak Joshi

Chief Financial Officer

Dipak Joshi serves as JBB Advanced Technologies’ Chief Financial Officer, leading all aspects of Finance, Accounting, Budgeting, Financial Planning, and Analysis. This includes financial oversight for JBB Advanced Technologies’ existing holdings along with multiple pending acquisitions.

Dipak brings more than 13 years of experience in CFO roles for multi-national technology companies. Before relocating to Dallas, he was based in San Francisco as CFO at SightCall, the world’s leading cloud platform for live visual support, with offices in the U.S. and six foreign countries. Dipak successfully led a campaign to raise $27M in private equity and $15M in debt, while achieving a $5M improvement in working capital through the renegotiation of agreements with clients and vendors. For five years, during which revenue grew from $17 to $50 million, he held the position of CFO for Rainberry/BitTorrent, one of the world’s most widely used protocols for peer-to-peer transfer of large files over the web. (In 2016, he served as Interim Chief Executive Officer, leading a restructuring and acquisition of the business.)  At BitTorrent, Dipak oversaw the financials behind the spin-off of an enterprise SaaS product line as a separate entity and due diligence supporting the acquisition of the Poloniex cryptocurrency exchange from Circle Inc.  At Fuze, Inc., a business developing video collaboration software, Dipak directed the transition from a public company to a privately held entity with the spinoff of two companies, as well as a migration from a consumer model to an enterprise model.

Dipak’s professional experience also includes four years at Google as Corporate Financial Controller and three years at eBay as Director of Acquisitions (overseeing 41 acquisitions) and European Finance Director (based in Switzerland.)

A graduate of England’s University of Manchester with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Dipak also earned a Master of Business Administration at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business. He completed the Blockchain Strategy Program at the University of Oxford’s Said Business School and the Value Investing Program at Columbia Business School.
